She marked her acting debut with the Star ONE Television series Yeh Ishq Haaye where she essayed the role of a bubbly, but ambitious small town girl who is in pursuit of her dreams. She gained the limelight in 2013, with the powerful role of Princess Shobha in Zee TV's Shobha Somnath Ki. She has also appeared in the shows Chotti Bahu (season 2) and Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed as Sarita.

Srishty was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra and most of her childhood was spent there. Her father had been a part of industry for a long time as Director of Photography, so knowing the dirty politics of the industry he was not in favor of her getting into the same industry. However, after her widely appreciated appearance in Fair-N-Lovely advertisement, he gave his consent.
