Lynette Nusbacher: Bio and Education
Lynette was actually born Aryeh Judah Schoen Nusbacher on December 17, 1966, in New York City.
The 51-year-old went through a gender reassignment surgery in 2007, and since then has been known as Lynette Nusbacher.
According to Linkedin, Nusbacher is highly qualified in war studies and strategy research.
She went to the University of Toronto and graduated from there in 1988 with a B.A. (Honors) in History and Economics.
Then, in 1994, Nusbacher attended the Royal Military college of Canada and graduated with a Masters of Arts degree in War Studies.
During her studies, she gained an in-depth knowledge of intelligence, management, and failures, and a process of armies and mechanized warfare.
It was soon after obtaining her Masters that Nusbacher took up a DPhil (Doctorate of Philosophy) at the University of Oxford in British Modern history, earning her the title of “Doctor.”
She has also attended the National School of Government and the Cranfield University-Cranefield School of Management for brief programs in Organizational Leadership.
Lynnette Nusbacher has been married to Melanie Bright since 1998, and the couple is reportedly still together.
The Nusbacher’s have two children and live near Guildford, Surrey in England.
Melanie has been a huge support to Lynette and protects her whenever she gets the chance. “She does not wish to talk to you about a private matter.” Melanie had said when prying eyes wanted to know details about the gender reassignment Lynette went through.
Even today, a tight lid is kept on her personal life and how the change may or may not have affected their marriage/parenting.
Still, it is clear the transition has not affected her passion for her work, or the teachings she brings to the table.
The American-born historian has reportedly taught Prince William and Prince Harry at the prestigious Sandhurst. Sources say it was while she was there that she made the change from man to woman.
