alexa pano bio : When Alexa was 5 years old, she had just started playing softball and could really hit the ball far. She never missed a pitch, and appeared to have exceptional talent….Except,,,,1 thing was wrong. She didn’t enjoy playing softball, then calling it boring.
One day, just having turned age 5, she walked into her father’s home office, and asked him if she could start playing golf… 3 weeks later, she played in her first US Kids Local Tour Tournament, and shot 72 [ for 9 holes at 1100 yards], and finished in 3rd place. There were only 3 players… BUT, she took that trophy to bed with her for weeks. That began her love affair with the game of golf, and led to Golf Channel Commentator Charlie Rymer to state that “Start to finish, practice, warmups, competition, dinners, banquets, ceremonies… No one has more fun enjoying the entire scene than Alexa Pano.”
Looking forward to 2018… Alexa will continue same schedule, adding a few more LPGA / Symetra Tour qualifiers to gain valued experience. In addition, she will be entering a full workout schedule, as fitness is her 2nd favorite activity. She is currently Home Schooled by her choice and her graduation year is currently 2022, though that may change as she is trying to accelerate and graduate early.
